What is Wagyu?
Wagyu is a Japanese cattle breed. The breed was first imported into the United States in 1975 and is known for its physical endurance and increased intramuscular fat cells (often referred to as marbling). The increased marbling leads to very tender beef with a unique taste, making it desired in fine dining.
Our Operation
Cow-Calf
Rotational Grazing | Natural Start
0 - 6 Months of age
Our Wagyu calves are raised on pasture using rotational grazing, allowing cattle to move regularly to fresh grass. Calves stay with their mothers early in life, supporting natural growth and immune health. We use calm, low-stress handling and prioritize animal comfort at every step.
Growing
No Artificial Hormones | Hay & Concentrate
6 - 18 months of age
During the grower phase, cattle are fed high-quality hay and slowly transitioned to balanced concentrate rations to support steady development and rumen health. We do not use artificial growth hormones. Health is monitored daily, and nutrition is carefully managed to build a strong foundation for finishing.
Finishing
No Artificial Hormones | Hay & Concentrate for Marbling
18 - 30 months of age
In the finishing phase, cattle continue on a controlled hay and concentrate diet designed to develop Wagyu’s signature marbling. Growth is gradual and never rushed. Animal comfort, clean facilities, and low-stress handling remain priorities through harvest.
